What is Restaro?

Restaro.com is a diner´s club platform where members can obtain discounts up to 50% on their restaurant receipts at participating restaurants. We help restaurants increase their business by promoting their discounts and restaurants to our members.

Restaro.com was founded and created by Dan Markotic and Joe Saric who have known each other for many years now.

How did this idea come to fruition?

The concept was generated by two life-long friends: Dan Markotic and Joe Saric; who believed that eating out regularly was just too expensive for people even if they relished (pun intended) magnificent food. Following a conversation with Joe, Dan (a serial entrepreneur) started to develop the idea to seek out restaurants that would be willing to provide a discount that were directed by Dan’s recommendation.

At the same time, Joe (a programming mastermind) suggested, “Why not develop an App, or website that gives foodies access to a diner’s club, and lets them save money on their restaurant visits?”

Dan immediately recognized the concept as a poignant idea, not only for food-lovers, but also for restaurants who would be able to promote slower business days through significant discounts to customers. In the end, a powerful idea was born, and Restaro came to life.
